Real-time Animation (sometimes referred to as Machinima) is the convergence of live-action filmmaking and 3D computer animation. This means we puppeteer the characters (called avatars) live in 3D virtual environments (the sets) while our computer digitally records what we view (through our camera). This results in a very quick (and therefore affordable) animation production schedule.
We've partnered with CBS for CSI: NY’s episode "Down the Rabbit Hole" and "DOA for the Day," producing the most extensive machinima ever to appear as part of a primetime network television show. We also created Machinima Animation for the AT&T-sponsored Life in the Virtual Hills, which aired during premieres of MTV’s hit series The Hills. We have also created award winning films (series Tiny Nation) using this process.
